Halogen headlights are becoming more prevalent in newer vehicles. They help provide a brighter shine when it’s dark outside, helping drivers clearly see any obstacles that may be ahead.

Halogen headlight bulbs are able to withstand higher temperatures than standard gas filled lamps with similar power, and they also typically last longer.
