Jiffy Lube, in my mind, was just a profit-driven shop to get a quick oil change and get back on the road. The team at the Mount Airy location has completely changed my mindset! Their service technicians are fast, friendly, and knowledgeable in their craft. Today, I requested a brake service and the on-staff advisor, Doug, came to show and explain to me not only why the $600+ service wasn’t necessary, but why my vehicle was showing the symptoms that lead me to request this service in the first place and applied his knowledge to fix the issue and get me out the door just about as fast as I came in without charging me a dime for his time and effort. This isn’t my first time here, and it certainly isn’t the last. Every visit I have had here further strengthens my opinion that very honest, very good people are working here; this Jiffy Lube is doing something right.

I recently went to Jiffy Lube in Mount Airy for regular oil change service. I was in and out in less than 20 mins once my car made it into the bay. First, always make sure you go online and print off one of the coupons. I am convinced (conspiracy theory) the coupon price is baked into the regular cost, so that you are subsidizing the public who don't use the coupons. This is not a "trick" just a best practice. Also, don't be afraid to say a firm "No Thank You" to any additional services offered by the technicians that are not recommended by your cars manufacturer based on the mileage. You can look this up online or in the book that came with your car probably sitting in your glove box. At this location, a firm no thank you, just an oil change will usually suffice. They won't hound you or make you feel guilt for choosing not to accept their reccomendations. Cabin filters, windshield wipers are crazy up charges. If you really feel like you need these because YOU notice an issue, go for it. Always default to your service manual, that will help protect your warranty, not what jiffylube says. Otherwise this location is relatively clean, no frills. They have a clean bathroom in case you can't wait or have a kid in tow, "mommy I have to go". The seating is limited and a bit cozy so if you have any stranger anxiety best to go at an off peak time or a week day. Happy motoring and do take care of your car. Its likely your most valuable asset beside your home.

Where do I start… If I could give more stars I would! I had popped my tire right I front of jiffy lube before they had even opened. Luckily my service tech Nadeem had passed me and stoped to help me. We moved my car to jiffy lube he made sure everything was well other than my popped tire. Service was amazing honestly I’m super grateful with everything he did. It made my day better.

I only go to the Mount airy Jiffy Lube location, because the staff are truly amazing, they are professional, knowledgeable, caring, and truly put me in my vehicle first. They will always have me as a customer.
