I went to the Jiffy Lube in Greenwood early Thursday to get an oil change. Ryan, the manager, saw that my brake fluid was low and asked to check the brakes. I gave him the go ahead, and I’m glad I did. Ryan called me out to the car and showed me how the rear shoes were metal on metal. He also showed how the caliper bolt heads were stripped from the previous brake job. Bolt extraction required. Not good. Ryan found calipers at a JL in Lynwood and worked up a price. I agreed knowing that travel time for the parts pick up and repair put me close to 1 or 2. By 3:00, the car was not done. Ryan made it a point to check in and explain that the cotter pins had been a problem too. It was after 4 when Ryan returned from the test drive to ring me up. It had been a long day, and he knew it. I inquired about compensation for the extended repair time. Ryan was able to offer remuneration that showed both care for his customers and represented Jiffy Lube well. I don’t often write reviews. Ryan, as a Jiffy Lube rep, earned this. Thanks Ryan for your courtesy and thank you Jiffy Lube for hiring managers who put customer satisfaction and continued patronage priorities.

The service today was fantastic! I came in thinking it was time for an oil change since it had been six months, but the team checked my records and saw that I’d only driven 2,000 miles since my last visit. Instead of charging me over $100 for an oil change I didn’t actually need, they checked my oil level, topped of my fluids, and put air in my tires and recommended I come after another 1,000 miles. I really appreciate that they took the time to look at my previous service and mileage rather than just going ahead with an unnecessary oil change. That kind of honesty and attention to detail goes a long way. Because of this experience, I will absolutely be coming back.

I recently came in for an oil change and also had a question about my heating system. Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain that with the PNW’s fast-changing weather, all I needed to do was roll the windows down slightly — no unnecessary repairs or upselling. He was transparent and even let me know that previous work I had done at Pacific Rim was overcharged on labor. I really appreciated the honesty and professionalism. It’s refreshing to find a shop that’s genuinely helpful and straightforward. I’ll definitely be back for my next oil change and any future services!

Really appreciated working with Ryan - I came in Monday for an oil change. The wait was a little long, but not unreasonable considering they were short handed and working fast - He didn’t try to upsell me, but rightfully let me know I urgently needed new tires (they were old and I’ve been putting it off). He gave me a reasonable quote and I was able to come back today to get them done! Overall, a great experience at the local Jiffy Lube.

We’ve been to many oil change businesses over the years, and have been very happy to have found this Jiffy Lube since moving to Seattle. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they’ve helped us replace various lights and a car battery too. The wait can sometimes be long if they’re busy, but that’s out of their control. They move steadily and do a thorough job once it’s your turn.
