New Jiffy Lube Television Ads Emphasize Service Depth and Expertise

HOUSTON, April 6, 2005 - A new Jiffy Lube® television campaign aims to remind drivers about the thorough and comprehensive vehicle service they can expect from Jiffy Lube. The campaign, which features three new ads from Boston-based MMB, will debut in local markets in April.

All three commercials are intended to elevate awareness of the entire Jiffy Lube service offering.

"Everything," begins with a mother leaving her house to take the car to Jiffy Lube. She explains to her teenage son that Jiffy Lube "keep[s] you informed of everything that goes on in your car." The panic-stricken son asks, "Everything?" and recalls times he has driven recklessly, made out with a girl, gotten the car stuck in the mud and skidded in a parking lot. Jumping over the couch, the boy chases his mother out the door and volunteers to take the car to Jiffy Lube for her instead. He heaves a huge sigh of relief when the service technician tells him ?everything' checks out fine ? under the hood.

In "Who Are You?" a father asks his teenage daughter if she had the oil changed in her car. She interrupts his follow-up question and rattles off a list of other items she had inspected and serviced at Jiffy Lube. As she exits the room, patting her father on the head, he asks rhetorically, "Who are you?" A voiceover explains Jiffy Lube, "keeps cars running better and people feeling smarter."

"The Sign" begins with two men in a cherry picker elevated to the base of a high Jiffy Lube sign. Underneath "oil change" they begin to add more placards describing other services Jiffy Lube performs, while a voiceover narrator describes each service. They reach the ground before the narrator finishes.

Jiffy Lube will run these three new television ads locally through the remainder of 2005
